Bruce Bennett

Song
for the arrival of Summer

Another season come and gone.
Let’s say goodbye to Spring.
The wheel keeps spinning, on and on,
and each slow turn will bring

New buds, then blossoms, then a fall,
then snow, then buds again,
repeating and repeating all...

We age, and watch it spin.
