The Oompah Band had Chutzpah
the chutzpah band had oomph.
The patron wore an apron and
cooked cookies for the troops.
Lederhosen wasn’t chosen
but socks were pulled up high.
The trumpets and accordions
made everybody cry.
I love a stein of beer my friends.
Who doesn’t in these times?
Get thee on the tables
and dance for old Lang Zein.
You say I mix my metaphors
well, a cocktail never hurt.
Dancing on the tables
sleeping in the yurts.
